Stanley Black & Decker opened a manufacturing facility in York County, SC, located in Lakemont Business Park, a 864-acre development considered to be one of the best distribution locations in the Carolinas. The new operation brought $31 million in capital investment and lead to the creation of 500 new jobs. Crescent Communities built the 345,000 SF building for Stanley Black & Decker to manufacture and assemble DEWALT cordless power tools. The park is minutes from Charlotte’s central business district, the Charlotte Douglas International Airport, and provides excellent access from I-77.
